The STS Fender, manufactured by Sunkai factory, is a specialized anti-collision cushioning device designed specifically for Ship-to-Ship (STS) cargo transfers and offshore lightering operations. Installed between two vessels, it absorbs the impact energy generated by wind, waves, and currents, thereby preventing direct hull-to-hull contact that could lead to structural damage or the risk of leakage. Widely utilized in offshore and anchorage transfer operations involving crude oil, LNG, chemical products, and bulk cargo, this product strictly complies with international maritime standards, including ISO 17357 and the OCIMF STS Transfer Guide.
Our STS fender efficiently absorbs vessel collision energy, mitigating potential structural damage to both the hull and terminal infrastructure. Furthermore, it is engineered to accommodate the significant angular displacements, lateral movements, and rolling motions inherent in STS transfer operations. l Material: Natural rubber / synthetic rubber outer shell with an internal high-pressure air chamber; equipped with a chain-and-tire net protection system, inflation valve, and lifting lugs.

l For pneumatic fenders, inflate to the standard pressure and verify that the internal pressure is normal prior to operation; solid-type fenders may be used directly.
l During operations, ensure the fender bears the load steadily; avoid forceful compression or uneven loading. Adjust the fender's position as necessary during periods of strong winds or rough seas.
l After use, promptly clean the fender's surface to remove seawater and stains. Inspect its exterior and suspension points; discontinue use immediately if any damage is detected.
l When storing, place the fender in a cool, dry location. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, dragging, or stepping on the unit, and protect it from scratches caused by sharp objects.
